BOURBON BARREL AGED MEXICO NOPALA MICROLOT
This Oaxacan magic comes to us from the Gomba Mill, situated in the community of Nopala near Mexico's famous Pluma Hidalgo coffee region. Grown between 1500-1750 meters above sea level, these washed process beans were aged in fragrant, oaky bourbon barrels, yielding a cup with entrancingly delicious notes of tamarind, dried fruit, and malt, all tied together marvelously by the underlying barrel character. If you could put your favorite song into liquid form, this is what it would taste like.
