Hailing from the rich volcanic soils of the Kochere district in Ethiopia’s Gedeo zone, this inordinately delicious coffee is a dazzling demonstration of why its locale is one of the most sought-after in the coffee world. Grown between 1800-2000 meters, this washed-process gem was aged by our coffee ninjas in fragrant, oaky bourbon barrels, yielding a magnificent combination of jasmine, stone fruit, and bourbony oak that’s both intriguing and incredibly delicious.
