BOURBON BARREL-AGED ETHIOPIA DUMERSO - 5LB BAG
This stunningly delicious coffee was sourced from a collection of family-owned farms organized around the Dumerso coffee mill, near Yirgacheffe in the Gedeo Zone of southern Ethiopia. Grown between 1850 and 2100 meters, the ripe coffee cherries were carefully sorted and graded before placement on raised drying beds, where they were turned every 2-3 hours for 6-8 weeks before de-hulling. We then aged these incredible beans in bourbon barrels, yielding a truly exceptional cup with notes of berries, raisins, and chocolate, with a creamy mouthfeel and glorious, lingering finish. It’s the culmination of meticulous effort on two continents, and we really think you’re going to dig it.
We have the option for pre-ground but we recommend to buy whole-bean and grind yourself. Pre-Ground will shorten the shelf life of the coffee.
