Hailing from the San Jose de Lourdes district of Peru’s San Ignacio province, this delightful coffee arrives to us by way of the San Ignacio Association, a group of producers who’ve banded together to ensure fair prices and increase market access for growers in the region. Once the green coffee beans arrived in San Diego, we aged them in fragrant, oaky bourbon barrels, resulting in a positively magnificent coffee that sings with notes of tangerine, candied ginger, and oak. It’s a coffee that’s virtually guaranteed to begin generating positive feelings from the moment you open the bag. Enjoy, friends.
