Hailing from the Takengon highlands in the Aceh province of Sumatra, these outstanding beans were grown at 1400-1800 meters by family farms organized around the Ketiara co-op. Wet-hulled and sun dried, this coffee developed delicious notes of dried fruit and Concord grape which play fantastically with the oak character from four months spent in bourbon barrels. If you’re looking for a profoundly radical way to kick off your day, this is a pretty solid bet.
