These washed-process beauties come to us by way of the Iyego Coffee Factory, which serves about 800 local smallholder farmers. This region's red volcanic soil (thanks, Mt. Kenya) provides ridiculously ideal coffee-growing conditions. Grown at 1600 meters above sea-level, these delicious beans yield a cup bursting with notes of lemon & grapefruit, with a lingering, rich toffee finish.
