PERU EL PALTO
**TIER 2 & 3 MEGA-BUDDIES EXCLUSIVE**
Hailing from the Cajamarca region of Peru, these beans were cultivated by farmer José Mercedes Carranza Montenegro, part of a rad (and largely female-represented) co-op in the Amazonian Andes known popularly as “El Palto”. Comprised of Typica, Pache, Caturra, and Bourbon varietals, these washed-process beans were grown between 1600-1800 meters, and yield a delightful amalgamation of chocolate, caramel, and raisin notes. It’s a beautiful cup, and a seriously effective motivation for getting out of bed in the morning.
