RUM BARREL-AGED ETHIOPIA WOTE KONGA - 5LB BAG
This natural-process beauty comes to us from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia (1800-2000 meters) through the Konga mill, a co-op of around 800 contributing farmers specializing in heirloom cultivars. Up to 18 hours of fermentation followed by 10 days of drying on raised African beds produced a coffee with gorgeous notes of berries, tropical fruit, and pound cake, which combine spectacularly with the barrel character and end in a lingering, oak-laced finish. Sounds pretty rad, right?
We have the option for pre-ground but we recommend to buy whole-bean and grind yourself. Pre-Ground will shorten the shelf life of the coffee.
